PRIVACY POLICY
Your family’s information should be treated with care.
Effective and last updated August 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how The Purpose Driven Family, operated by Joe and Ashley Jernigan (collectively, “we,” “us” or “our”), collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit our websites, request a resource, complete an assessment, join a program or community, purchase a product, communicate with us or otherwise use our services.
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number when you voluntarily opt into text messages, family or household information you choose to share, assessment and application answers, resource interests, replies, comments, testimonials, program participation and customer-support communications.
When you make a purchase, our payment providers process your payment-card and billing information. We do not receive or store complete card numbers. We may receive transaction details such as the product purchased, price, date, payment status and limited billing information.
We and our service providers may automatically collect device, browser, IP address, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, link clicks, form activity and similar usage information through cookies, pixels, logs and related technologies.
How we use information
- Deliver requested guides, assessments, courses, communities, products and support.
- Personalize follow-up based on the resources or topics you request.
- Operate email, direct-message and optional text-message journeys.
- Process purchases, prevent fraud and maintain customer records.
- Understand what families need, improve our content and measure performance.
- Protect our services, enforce our terms and comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information with your consent, to perform a contract with you, to comply with legal obligations or for legitimate interests such as delivering requested services, improving our work, securing our systems and communicating with people who have chosen to interact with us. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with service providers that help us operate, including website hosting, email and customer-record systems, social messaging and automation platforms, community and course platforms, payment processors, analytics providers, cloud storage, video-conferencing tools and professional advisers. These providers may use information only as permitted by their agreements and applicable law.
Our current systems may include Kit, ManyChat, Circle, Stripe, Google, Meta, Zoom and website-hosting providers. Their own privacy policies also govern their processing. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transfer.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies and similar technologies may remember preferences, keep services working, measure traffic and help us understand which content and resources are useful. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, although some features may not work correctly afterward. If we later add advertising or nonessential tracking that legally requires consent, we will present the appropriate choice before activating it.
Email, direct messages and text messages
You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link included in each message. We may still send necessary transactional or relationship messages about a purchase, account or program. If you separately consent to texts, message and data rates may apply; message frequency may vary; and you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide this information to service providers solely as needed to deliver, route, support or secure the text-message program you requested. Opt-in data and consent are excluded from any sharing for third-party marketing.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing services, maintaining business and tax records, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and our relationship with you. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know or access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising, and receive equal service when exercising privacy rights. We do not currently sell personal information or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
To make a privacy request, email contact@joeandashley.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents should identify themselves and provide proof of authority. You may also have the right to appeal our response or complain to your local privacy regulator.
Children’s privacy
Our services are directed to parents and other adults, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Parents should not submit unnecessary identifying, medical or other sensitive details about a child. If you believe a child has provided information directly to us, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
International use
Our operations and service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner.
