TERMS OF USE

A clear agreement for using our work.

Effective and last updated August 15, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to websites, resources, assessments, courses, communities, coaching experiences and products offered by The Purpose Driven Family, operated by Joe and Ashley Jernigan (“we,” “us” or “our”). By using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

Adults and family accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to purchase or enroll. Our services are designed for adults supporting their families. Parents and guardians remain responsible for their children, household decisions and the use of any information or activity.

Education—not professional care

Our content, assessments, coaching and community are for general educational and informational purposes. They are not therapy, medical or mental-health care, crisis intervention, legal advice, financial advice, diagnosis or treatment. Nothing we provide creates a professional-client relationship. Seek a qualified professional when your family’s situation requires individualized care. If anyone may be in immediate danger, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.

No promised outcome

We share principles, practices and our own experience, but every family is different. Results depend on many factors, including participation and circumstances outside our control. We do not promise child compliance, a conflict-free home, financial results, health outcomes or any specific transformation. Any written guarantee applies only under the exact conditions stated on the relevant sales page and in our Refund Policy.

Purchases, access and recurring payments

Prices, payment schedules, program dates, included materials and access periods are shown at checkout or enrollment. By purchasing, you authorize the displayed charge and any clearly disclosed installment or recurring payments. You are responsible for accurate billing information and applicable taxes. Access may be suspended for failed payments, misuse or a material breach of these terms. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and any more specific terms displayed at checkout.

Optional SMS coaching program

When offered, enrolled adults may separately opt into Purpose Driven Family coaching and accountability text messages by providing a mobile number and selecting the unchecked SMS-consent box. Consent is optional, is not a condition of purchase and applies only to the program described at enrollment. The expected frequency is approximately one scheduled message per day during the 30-day experience, plus replies connected to help or accountability requests. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to cancel future text messages. Reply HELP for program help. Opting out of texts does not cancel purchased course or community access. Delivery and timing may vary by carrier, device, location and service availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not use the SMS program for emergencies, crisis support, therapy, medical care or other professional services. For account or SMS questions, email contact@joeandashley.com.

Community participation

Be honest, respectful and protective of other families’ privacy. Do not harass, threaten, shame, impersonate, solicit, post unlawful material, share another member’s private information or record calls or community content without permission. Community participation does not create confidentiality comparable to therapy, legal representation or medical care. We may moderate content or remove access when reasonably necessary to protect participants or the program.

Intellectual property and personal use

Our videos, writing, assessments, workbooks, course lessons, designs, trademarks and other materials are owned by us or used with permission. A purchase or free download gives you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license for personal use within your household. You may print reasonable household copies. You may not resell, republish, upload, distribute, teach from, reproduce commercially, remove branding from or create derivative products from our materials without written permission.

User submissions and testimonials

You retain ownership of material you send us. By submitting content for publication or expressly granting testimonial permission, you give us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display that approved material in connection with our work. Private assessment answers, applications and community conversations are not testimonials merely because you submitted them. You may withdraw future testimonial use by contacting us, although we may not be able to recall material already printed or distributed.

Third-party services and affiliate links

Our services may link to platforms, products or websites we do not control. Their terms, privacy practices, availability and performance are their responsibility. Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with site security, scrape or harvest information, introduce malicious code, misuse another person’s account, attempt unauthorized access, or use our services for unlawful, abusive or deceptive purposes.

Service changes and availability

We may improve, replace, pause or discontinue features. We will make reasonable efforts to provide purchased access as described, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or permanent availability of third-party platforms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties not expressly stated in writing. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data or profits, or decisions made from educational content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the preceding 12 months. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your unlawful misuse of the services, violation of these terms or infringement of another person’s rights.

Disputes and governing law

Before filing a formal claim, contact us and allow 30 days to attempt an informal resolution. These terms are governed by applicable United States law, without overriding consumer protections that cannot legally be waived in your place of residence. Nothing in these terms prevents either party from seeking relief in a court with lawful jurisdiction.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms as our services change. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised terms. Questions may be sent to contact@joeandashley.com.
